Sugar Free Glazed Carrots

 

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs fresh  carrots sliced diagonally 

  • 2 tbsp Brummell and Brown (Yogurt Butter) 

  • 1 tsp Truvia Sweet Complete Brown Sugar 

  • 1 tsp vanilla 

  • Salt as needed 

  • Water as needed 

  • Parsley (fresh or dried) (optional)

Directions:

Put carrots in a pot large enough to hold all the carrots and be able to add water to cover them. 

Pour water over carrots until just covered. 

Add  butter and brown sugar.

Bring to a boil.

Reduce to a simmer, add vanilla and continue until almost all water is absorbed and the carrots are tender but still firm (but not falling apart).

Toss in parsley (optional)and serve hot. 

Serving size: 1 cup
